Живём, попирая
законы и веру,
добра набирая
из недр выше меры;

В быту, не жалея
ни воздух, ни воду,
крутиться умеем
себе лишь в угоду,

За то и стихия —
недобрая с нами-
то пашни сухие,
то с моря – цунами.

Но есть и другое:
Окурок — в траву!
Злодейство людское
порой — наяву,

Где рощи и хаты
Пылают в огне,
где тайно в сохатых
палят по весне,

Там, друг мой, стихию
Нельзя обвинять.
О том и стихи я
Не рвусь сочинять.

Стою у стволов
Обгоревших берёз,
и нет больше слов,
Лишь по коже — мороз…

Покину большак,
прошагаю по полю
со стоном в ушах
от берёзовой боли.
